I like to keep my "Recommended Reading" list purposely short. I personally know most of the following authors and their books. The others speak for themselves:

8. What Should I Do With the Rest Of My Life? by Po Bronson.
This book will support anyone pondering a major life choice or risk without force-feeding them pat solutions.

9. The 100 Best Businesses To Start When You Don't Want to Work hard Anymore by Lisa Rogak.
In brief easy to digest sections, each business listed includes a concise description, why it's perfect for middle ages or retired person, skills and investment required, and where to find more information.
